Introduction

A Request for Information (RFI) is created when we need additional details or documentation before a payment can finish processing, such as a beneficiary's government-issued ID. The payment stays in progress until the RFI is resolved.
Use this endpoint to fetch a single RFI by ID, or list every RFI on your account. Each RFI returns its status, the payment it belongs to, and the individual items being requested. Each item has its own ID, which you'll need when submitting a response.

Common uses:

• Retrieve all pending RFI requests requiring action

• Filter RFIs by payment reference ID or status

• Track the status of previously submitted RFIs

• View details about what information or documents are required

To respond, POST to /rfi using the item IDs returned here. If you'd rather not poll this endpoint, enable RFI webhooks and we'll notify you as soon as one is created.
