Success

With both the correct header authorization and the correctly filled out body your post request is ready to send. After sending the requests you should receive a response similar to the following below. Please note that your request may take up to 60 seconds for the response to appear.

Note: for most external contacts, they will be approved automatically. However, for certain accounts with exotic currencies, it may take several days to approve before making payments to this beneficiary. These contacts will contain a status of PENDING and a message explaining further details.

Error

Possible errors include a missing required field, a country or currency not being supported, an invalid popCode or date, or the usage of an exotic currency.

Please Note:

• If you select "Business" as your AccountType, you must also include BusinessName in your request body.
• If you select "Business" as your AccountType, you must include businessTaxId in your request body if it is required by selected "Country" (To confirm please use our required information endpoint). Here are few of the following countries that require businessTaxId.

• If you select "Personal" as your AccountType, you must include personalTaxId in your request body if it is required by selected "Country" (To confirm please use our required information endpoint). Here are few of the following countries that require personalTaxId.

• If you select "IN" as your Country, placeOfBirthCountry, placeOfBirthRegion, and dateOfBirth must be included in the request body.
